Racial Organizations

By Jim Jackson - Oct. 6, 2006

Alabama Governor Bob Riley is being criticized for his membership in the Alabama Masons which reportedly has no blacks in it. The automatic implication is that the Masons are a racist organization, and all of the members are racists, including Gov. Riley.

This seems to be saying that all organizations in Alabama and America, which do not have a diverse (black & white) membership, are racists. And, all of the members in such organizations are racists.

Racism in America today means prejudiced white people -- period. And, racist organizations mean those which have no black members -- period.

But, wait a minute. There are hundreds of organizations in the state and the country that are restricted to only black members. Are they not racists?

This obviously leads to the question: Is it not just as racist for blacks to have their own private organizations as it is for whites? You hear no one calling the Black Caucus in the Alabama State Legislature or in the U.S. Congress, racist organizations. In addition, blacks have a racially restricted organization in every facet of daily life in America. Isn’t this racist?

Although Huntsville, Alabama has a city Chamber of Commerce, at one time headed by a black person, blacks created their own Chamber - no whites allowed. Also, in Huntsville, blacks have their own telephone book -- no white businesses allowed. And, there are a host of other all-black organizations, including their own Masonic Lodge. Isn’t this racist?

If it is wrong for the Masons to have an all-white assembly, it seems equally wrong for blacks to have these black race-based organizations. If they were white, the people would be called racial bigots. Black caucuses actually criticize any white-dominated special interest group while praising their own.

On the other hand, maybe it is time to open the door to white race-based groups. Whites should have the same rights as blacks to have organizations that foster and protect their interest -- it is called “race consciousness.” And, its been openly practiced only by blacks for the past 50 years.

In a 2002 article, “The ‘No-Whites-Need-Apply’ Caucus,” Pat Buchanan put it this way: “If it is acceptable for blacks and Hispanics to collude to seize power from white Americans, why is it a violation of civil rights for whites to collude to increase their representation in legislatures at the expense of minorities? If the latter is racism, why is the former progress?”

This question was raised after he reviewed a conference in Leesburg, VA, in which Black, Hispanic and Asia Pacific Caucuses met to plan how they could advance their races in America. Buchanan referred to the meeting as a “secret summit about how folks of Third World ancestry can join forces to seize power and resources from white America.”

Buchanan went on to state: “If it has become acceptable for caucuses that represent people of color to join against America’s white majority, look for white folks to begin to identify themselves by race, rather than party or philosophy, to preserve what they have.”

In our society, there is constant criticism of any organization that appears to be too white. On the other hand, there is no criticism of organizations that are openly declared to be for black people. If racial separation is acceptable for black people, why is it not acceptable for white people?

Everything in public life in America is now sorted and rated by race. In fact, ever since the success of the civil rights movement, which was supposed to remove race as a consideration of anything in America, race has become the primary consideration for everything in the country -- and by the way, at the insistence of black people. Negroes became “black” people in order to emphasize their race. They then became African-Americans to separate themselves from the rest of America.

This leads one to conclude that all along it was the intent of the black leadership, and their supporters, to encourage racial separation as the primary tool in breaking down the white culture in America. The so-called elite universities have been turned into hotbeds of racial hatred and anti-Americanism. For instance, Harvard University Prof. Noel Ignatiev openly espouses, and teaches, the elimination of whiteness in America. He edits The Race Traitor, a journal of new Abolitionists who are working to destroy the white race in this country.

The real question here in the face of this apparent black domination of propriety in America is what should white people do?

The answer: First, white people should reassert their rights as a race -- white consciousness should be as prevalent as black consciousness. Second, the white culture should reassert itself as the dominate force in America -- it is the culture that founded and built this the greatest country in the world. Third, white people should quit apologizing for being white, and re-establish white consciousness as the ruling force in America. Fourth, black organizations should be openly criticized for their racism and their anti-Americanism. And, finally, blacks should be pushed to drop their hyphenated Americanism, and to work to assimilate into the American culture.

If blacks are unwilling to do these things to become full Americans, they should be forcefully encouraged to go back home to the Africa they seem to cherish. But all of the perks afforded to them by white America would be left here.

Gov. Riley, don’t you dare apologize for being a Mason. At least, not unless or until, the members of the Black Legislative Caucus apologize.
